Alan Whitehouse's Ramblings

Continuing to work until my heavy investment in lottery tickets finally pays off….

Historically speaking, all true change in the world has come thanks to leaders emerging, them taking charge and giving the masses someone to rally around. Can an intentionally "leaderless" movement survive or will it just slowly fade away?

You want change, then get involved. Vote, run for office, go to shareholder meetings and contact advertisers or investors. Sitting around banging drums, singing kumbaya, smoking weed and having a camp out under the stars is not going to get you the change you want.

I love PerformancePoint.  Really I do.  We see huge opportunity for it for growing our business and for what it can provide to our clients.  But every once in a while this thing frustrates me to no end.  Now is one of those times.

I have created a model and created the input form and created my cycle and granted access to the model and done everything I am supposed to.  However, when I try to go to do data entry into the model I can’t get the damn data entry cells to turn yellow to accept new values.

This has happened to me before and it has always been because I forgot something.   But for the life of me I can’t see what I am missing.  I guess I will have someone else here look at it as I might be too close to it and overlooking something obvious.

UPDATE:  Couldn’t figure it out.  Deleted the model, recreated it without changing anything about the dimensions, roles, security, etc.  Recreated the input form and created a cycle and it worked fine.  This has happened two times before, I am beginning to wonder if there is some bug in there…
